Thank god jesus is not only the healer but he is our redeemer. They couldn t bring him to jesus because of the crowd so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Someone that is crippled and disabled they wanted to get close to jesus but the house was so full of people that they couldn t get to him. First jesus did what only god can do he forgave the man s sins.

Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd right in front of jesus. There were four men carrying a man that was paralyzed. But instead of giving healing the first thing jesus said was son thy sins be forgiven thee jesus saw in this man a much greater need than healing for his body. So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. They lowered their friend down to the place where jesus was. When they couldn t get near jesus they went to the roof and uncovered the roof. Then jesus healed the man so that he could get up and walk.
